Daoud Salmouni-Zerhouni is a Patent & Trademark Attorney and a partner in the firm.
He is a graduate of the law faculty of the University of Strasbourg, the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies – CEIPI, the law faculty of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and the University of Washington. He also attended the French Supreme Court Attorneys Research Institute (Institut de Formation et de Recherche des Avocats aux Conseils).
After several internships at the French Industrial Property Office (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle, INPI), the European Patent Office (EPO, Germany) and several firms specialising in this field in France and the United States (Plasseraud, Addax Avocats, Gilbey Legal, K&L Gates, White & Case), Daoud was sworn in as a member of the Paris Bar in 2009 before joining the Paris law firm Gilbey Legal and then Hémery - Thomas-Raquin, a Supreme Court Attorneys firm.
He was secretary of the Conférence du Stage des Avocats au Conseil d'Etat et à la Cour de cassation (oratory contest, 2011).
In 2019, he returned to Morocco to work with Mehdi Salmouni-Zerhouni as a consultant and then as a Patent & Trademark Attorney and partner.
Daoud is regularly invited to give lectures and seminars on intellectual property and franchising law (University of Strasbourg, Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI, Moroccan National Institute of Post and Telecommunications - INPT, International University of Rabat, International Chamber of Commerce - ICC Morocco, HubAfrica, Attijariwafa Bank Foundation, The Attorney club in Morocco - Le Club des Avocats au Maroc, Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Morocco - CCSM).
